The Faculty of Agrotechnology was established in 1929 within the Cotton Institute. During the past century, great scientists who have made and continue to contribute to all branches of the Republic have worked from the faculty. For example: 6 heroes of Uzbekistan, Zulayho Norkulova (Fergana), Marat Zakirov (Jizzakh), Murodilla Saidov (Kashkadarya, Koson), Ibrahim Faizullayev (Surkhandarya), Avaz Ergashev (Samarkand, Jomboy), Dostmurad Ayudullayev (Samarkand, Pakhtachi) have grown up from the faculty. In addition, many heroes of labor and deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Supreme Assembly graduated from this faculty and worked there. Having thoroughly mastered the knowledge of the teachers and deeply studied the specialized subjects, the president and the state scholarship holders are also numerous. Among them, more than 10 of our students, such as Abdishukur Khamzayev, Dilshod Jumanov, Iroda Lukova, Marhabo Chuliyeva, Feruza Rafiyeva, received presidential scholarships, and more than 30 state scholarships, such as Beruni, Ibn Sino. Many scientists of our faculty have made and continue to make great contributions to the training of such knowledge-hungry, exemplary and mature specialists. M: Many of our professors, such as Diamat Tokhtayevich Abdukarimov, Razzaq Oripovich Oripov, Nasriddin Khalilov, Elmurod Umurzokovych Umurzokov, Ibrahim Toshkenovich Ergashev, Ismail Toshkenovich Ergashev, are teaching their knowledge and experience to the young people of the faculty.
The Faculty of Agrotechnology operates on the basis of the approved structural structure of the university based on the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 31, 2022 "On the fundamental improvement of the personnel training system in the field of veterinary and animal husbandry" PQ-187. At present, about 700 students are studying in the faculty in full-time and part-time courses, and in 2024, the number of graduates in the faculty will be 140.
At the faculty, about 50 qualified professors and young scientists are teaching 164 subjects to about 700 students of 7 fields of study. Today, the scientific potential of the faculty is 57.6%.

The faculty has signed cooperation agreements with many foreign and domestic universities, and together with professors and teachers of specialist departments of partner universities, textbooks, manuals, monographs, scientific articles, methodological guides and instructions have been published. Faculty professors and teachers participate in international scientific and practical conferences held abroad and in our Republic with their reports.
Also, doctoral and master's students and students continue their studies and undergo internships at partner universities in such countries as Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Romania, South Korea, Latvia, Russia, Kazakhstan under the "Academic Mobility" and "Student Exchange" programs.
At the same time, cooperation agreements have been concluded with advanced enterprises and farms, training centers of our Republic for students to undergo internships. During the internship period, students, along with studying practice in agricultural departments and advanced clusters of the regions of our Republic, directly participate in the strategic management of economic entities, the creation and analysis of innovative and investment projects, the creation of advanced technologies for growing fodder and forage, new technologies for processing crops, the creation of new varieties of fodder crops, and the preparation of relevant documents for obtaining new projects.
The faculty has an intensive garden created in collaboration with the Japanese company "JICA", and a training and experimental pavilion with more than 20 agricultural techniques.
Scientific research is carried out on the basis of cooperation agreements with 13 enterprises corresponding to the specialization of the faculty.

In order to fundamentally reform the educational process of the faculty in terms of quality, an opportunity was created to widely use new pedagogical technologies, working curricula of subjects, educational and methodological complexes were improved with educational technologies.
It is required to create a new generation of educational literature for the education of individuals with intellectual potential, who can think independently and think based on the modern achievements of science, as well as for the training of competitive, highly qualified personnel. The professors and teachers of the faculty are carrying out comprehensive work on the preparation of new textbooks, study guides, educational and methodological instructions, their publication, and the provision of literature on the subjects of education. The level of availability of literature in the field of education available at the faculty was studied, and according to its analysis, the level of availability of subjects in the curriculum ranges from 80 to 100 percent.

The professors and teachers of the specialized departments of the faculty and researchers are carrying out effective scientific research work in order to establish an effective system of training scientific personnel at the university, to introduce commercialization and production of scientific research, to organize student practice and to create a full self-financing mechanism.
Currently, the Faculty of Agrotechnology actively cooperates with the university educational farm and a number of farms in the region in scientific research.

Systematic work on digitization of the educational system has been carried out at the faculty. There is a modern training laboratory of "Genetics, plant science and fodder cultivation", an intensive garden created in cooperation with the Japanese company "JICA", a training pavilion with more than 30 agricultural techniques.
In our faculty, the activities of scientific, scientific and creative circles organized under the departments are well established. A list of 365 students was formed and approved at the faculty, and work with students was started in the "Master-student" system.
More than 180 students are improving their knowledge in 3 clubs organized at the faculty.
To date, 27 textbooks, 184 study guides, 20 monographs, about 1000 scientific articles and theses have been published by the professors and teachers of the faculty. Students are being educated in 164 subjects.
International relations and international scientific cooperation are well established at the faculty. Today, our Faculty has established scientific cooperation with the State Agrarian University of Russia named after K.A. Timiryazev, West Kazakhstan Agrarian Technical University named after Jangirkhan, National Agrarian Research University of Kazakhstan.
