DEPARTMENT OF ANATOMY, HISTOLOGY AND PATHOLOGICAL ANIMAL ANATOMY

     The department was founded in 1929 as part of the Samarkand Agricultural Institute, as the Department of Animal Anatomy. At the stages of its development, namely, in 1989-2004, the department functioned as the Department of Animal Anatomy, Histology and Pathological Anatomy, in 2004-2017 - as the Department of Anatomy, Physiology, Animal Surgery and Pharmacology, in 2017-2018 - as the Department of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of Animals, since 2018 - as the Department of Animal Anatomy, Histology and Pathological Anatomy as part of the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine, and since 2022 it has been functioning as the Department of Animal Anatomy, Histology and Pathological Anatomy as part of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.

     Since its founding, the department was headed by Professor P.P. Vinogradov, Professor D.Kh. Narziev, Professor Sh.I. Ibragimov, Associate Professor M.Kh. Allamurodov, Professor Kh.B. Niyozov, Professor B.D. Narziev, Professor R.M. Tashtemirov. The following professors worked at the Department of Animal Anatomy, Histology and Pathological Anatomy: D.Kh. Narziev, Sh.I. Ibragimov, T.F. Absalyamov, A.S. Daminov, associate professors N.A. Vladimirova, R.R. Ruzmetov, M.Kh. Allamurodov, N.Sh. Shodiev, A.E. Elmurodov, Zh.A. Tovmasyan, P.Z. Reshidov, R.T. Dustova, F.I. Deinego, B.Z. Zhainarov, E.M. Saliev, senior lecturer M.I. Isaev, assistants A.Kh. Aliyev, S.K. Karshiev, A.F. Fozilov, Sh.Kh. Urinov.

     Currently, there are 13 teachers working at the department. Of these, 1 professor, 3 associate professors, 3 senior teachers and 6 assistants. The department has 1 computer class equipped with new modern computers and 1 modern laboratory of "Pathomorphology".
