Today, on the first day, the 108th anniversary of the birth of Zulfiyakhanim, one of the fiery poets of Uzbek poetry, unique singer of the human spiritual world, will be widely celebrated in our country. There is probably no contemporary who does not know the poet, has not memorized or heard any of his poems. In the language of poetry, the poetess introduces people to elegance and goodness with her poems, leads them to the white dawn, and warms them with the warmth of their hearts. At Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies, a literary and artistic evening called "I AM LUCKY - I AM THE ZULFIYA OF UZBEK" was organized.
The educational event was opened by the rector of the university, Professor Hudaynazar Yunusov. “Zulfiyakhanim’s work does not lose its relevance even after many years, it remains a symbol of loyalty and loyalty in the hearts of generations. The views of the poet about the Motherland, family or happiness will always be an example for the younger generation,” says the head of the educational institution. One of the State awards of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the award named after Zulfiya Khanim. The award was established in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On support of proposals for the establishment of the Zulfia State Award” dated June 10, 1999, for talented girls under the age of 25 in literature, culture , awarded for special achievements in the fields of art, science, and education. A total of 28 awards are given to two representatives of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent. The monetary reward is 50 times the minimum monthly salary. School, high school, college students who are the winners of the state award named after Zulfiya are admitted to higher educational institutions in their chosen fields without an exam. The award is presented annually on the eve of Women’s Day on March 8, by decision of the Cabinet of Ministers based on the conclusions of the commission headed by the chairman of the Women’s Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the cultural and educational night, scenes about the work and life of the poetess were shown. The creative youth of the university performed excerpts from poems and ballads written by Zulfiyakhanim, which became popular in the country, and sang songs.
