Responsibilities of the Service (front office) Department Managers
According to the student services sector:
• providing information about lesson schedules;
• help sending applications to subject groups for re-reading;
• providing information to students about current, intermediate and final controls;
• formation of invitation letter for students studying in the form of correspondence and distance education;
• providing academic references and transcripts;
• providing a list of exams;
• help in sending an application for transfer and renewal of studies;
• help higher education institutions to submit online applications for admission to second education;
• help in submitting an online application for admission to the master's (clinical residency) stage of higher education institutions;
• creation and presentation of a student ID card and a residence ID card;
• provide the student with a certificate of his GPA;
• reset students' passwords in the "HEMIS" information system;
• help students to get health insurance;
• consulting on admission and transfer of studies;
• provide information about the various services and resources available at the higher education institution;
• submission of fixed forms of documents (diploma, annex to the diploma, academic certificates, etc.);
organization of reception, storage and issuance of fixed account forms (diploma forms, academic certificates, diploma application, etc.);
• identifying students with academic debt;
• preparation of documents for temporary registration of those who have moved to student accommodation.
• By the service sector for scientific and innovative activities:
• providing information about grants and competitions;
• providing information about scientific conferences;
• helping to register innovative ideas and start-ups;
• inform students about famous scholarships and help them apply;
• consulting on scientific projects;
• Help to become a member of the "Master-Apprentice School";
• promotion of scientific conferences, seminars and other scientific and innovative events organized by the higher education organization among students;
• providing information and practical assistance to students about scientific circles.
• International relations and academic mobility service sector:
• providing a certificate in English from the place of study;
• providing information on various international grants and academic mobility programs (with local and foreign OTTs);
• registration of admitted foreign students in the electronic system and attachment to subjects;
consulting on studying in foreign universities;
• implementation of visa services for foreign students;
• presentation of payment contracts to foreign students;
• implementation of temporary registration services of foreign students in the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• advising foreign students on admission, receiving them for review of applications and required documents;
• providing information to foreign students about educational processes in higher education institutions;
• providing information about joint educational programs and promotion among students;
• providing information about the El-Yurt Umid Foundation scholarship competition and foreign announcements for studying abroad;
• providing information to students about higher education institutions ranked in international ratings (QS, THE, Green Metric);
• informing students about agreements and statements signed in international forums;
providing information about foreign language courses.
• By accounting, marketing and practice service sector:
• receiving and entering information about employed graduates;
• assistance in determining, calculating and presenting the payment contract amount, as well as in applying for a payment contract;
• determining and approving payment amounts for students with academic debt, helping to apply for a contract for re-education;
• assistance in writing an application for a rent subsidy;
• assisting students to apply for accommodation in dormitories;
• drawing up documents and making recommendations for the payment of 50 percent of the monthly rent (not more than half of the base calculation amount) from the State budget funds to students living on the basis of rent;
• giving recommendations to students regarding employment;
• forming a list of potential employers and delivering it to students.
• preparing, formalizing and delivering to graduates all the necessary documents related to job distribution and placement of graduates (recruitment on job posting, decision of the distribution commission, personal distribution record).
