AND HISTORY OF FACULTY
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-3703 dated May 8, 2018, the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine was established, and the Faculty of Veterinary Diagnostics and Food Safety began to work as a new faculty. Currently, more than 500 students are studying, and in 2022, the first 112 graduates of the faculty entered the veterinary service.
The Faculty of Veterinary Diagnostics and Food Safety offers the following undergraduate programs:
Veterinary and sanitary examination - meat and dairy enterprises, poultry farms, livestock enterprises, logistics centers, reserve food warehouses, farmers' markets, veterinary and sanitary examination laboratories, food production enterprises, trade and meat facilities aimed at improving product quality.
Veterinary diagnostics and laboratory work - ensuring epizootic and epidemiological stability, diagnosing infectious diseases, protecting the population from zooanthroponotic diseases, developing and implementing regulatory documents, agricultural and domestic animals, fur, exotic and wild animals, providing veterinary services to poultry farming, bees and fish.
