DEAR DEFENDERS OF THE HOMELAND!
First of all, I
would like to sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of January 14th -
Defenders of the Homeland Day and the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of
the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan!
In recent years,
based on the noble idea of "The people and the army are one," the
combat readiness of our Armed Forces has increased, and the military
construction sector has been radically modernized. As a result, qualitative
changes have taken place in our national army, and serving in the army has
become a truly honorable duty.
In this regard,
our efforts aimed at educating young people in the spirit of military
patriotism are of great importance.
Today, the
professional skills and prestige of our servicemen are growing on a global
scale. This can be clearly seen in the example of representatives of the Armed
Forces of our country actively participating in prestigious international
military competitions and taking prize places.
Thanks to such
efforts and the active cooperation of our national army and our people, our
Armed Forces are becoming a reliable guarantee of the development, peace, and
stability of our country, a true school of courage and fortitude.
I would like to
especially emphasize the service of veterinary doctors in using service dogs
and horses to protect the state borders of our country. We can proudly say that
our specialists are serving on the borders of our homeland.
Taking this
opportunity, I once again congratulate all the dedicated workers in the field,
the defenders of our homeland, on this holiday.
May our country be
peaceful, and may the defenders of our homeland be safe!
