THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PRESIDENTIAL DECREE AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRADUATES OF THE 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR WERE HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY




The next meeting of the Distribution Commission on the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-61 dated February 14, 2025 “On additional measures to promote the employment of graduates of higher education institutions” and the future employment of students graduating from the Faculties of Veterinary Prevention and Treatment and Veterinary Diagnostics and Food Safety in the 2024-2025 academic year was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.

    The meeting was opened by the rector of the university, Professor Kh.B. Yunusov, and it was emphasized that the adoption of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-61 dated February 14, 2025 “On additional measures to assist graduates of higher education institutions in finding employment” is a sign of the attention paid to young people, in particular to ensuring their employment, the implementation of the “Step to the Future” program to assist graduates of higher education institutions in finding employment, and the fact that 80 thousand US dollars were allocated by graduates on the basis of startup projects with the participation of the National Bank of Uzbekistan are a great opportunity in themselves. It was also noted that recommendations were given to graduates on finding employment and relevant instructions and instructions were given to those responsible for placing graduates who do not have a specific job.

    Also at the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Professor A.A. Elmurodov read out the jobs of graduates presented to the distribution commission and provided information on the organization of “Career Days” at the university on April 11, based on the professional activities of some graduating students, involving the Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, regional departments and divisions, large clusters, heads of organizations and enterprises. After that, about 50 projects of graduating students were considered, more than 10 startup projects were heard directly with the participation of leaders and industry specialists, and it was decided to transfer them to the center established under the Step to the Future program opened at Samarkand State University.

    The second part of the event continued with an open question-and-answer session, during which young people received detailed answers to their questions from relevant leaders, as well as the registrar's office, faculty deans, department heads, and those responsible for professional practice.
