THE PRESIDENT OF THE GERMAN "WEIHENSTEPHAN TRIESDORF UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES" IS AT OUR UNIVERSITY
A delegation led by Dr. Erik Veulliet, President of the Weihenstephan Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences in Germany, which has been cooperating with the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology for many years, visited.
The guests were warmly welcomed by the rector of the university, Professor Khudainazar Yunusov, and the vice-rector for international cooperation O. Achilov. The meeting agreed on further cooperation issues, as well as ways to implement them.
It was noted that this cooperation consists of cooperation within the framework of a number of important topics, such as the exchange program for students and professors, veterinary medicine, food security, and agriculture.
The meeting was attended by professors, heads of departments and relevant specialists, led by the rector of the university, Professor Khudainazar Yunusov, who expressed their views on the current activities of the two universities, sending students for internships, preparing joint scientific and educational projects, participating in conferences and scientific and practical events, and training specialists in the field of agriculture.
In addition, a memorandum of bilateral cooperation was signed and the guests were presented with souvenirs.
