UNITY IS ONE PEOPLE, UNITY IS OUR COUNTRY!
Today we celebrate the 33rd anniversary of our independence, which brought prosperity, development and respect for humanity to the country. Independence is the only force that unites the country and the nation, the will of our multinational people, their eternal dreams of freedom.
Our President signed the resolution “On preparation and holding the thirty-third anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. According to the resolution, the glorious 33rd anniversary of independence will be celebrated in a truly national holiday, a day of freedom and happiness, and will be celebrated in a manner befitting the country's current level of development and growth. Organizational, practical, spiritual and educational events, as well as propaganda and agitation work will be carried out with the main idea “Unite – we are one people, unite – our homeland!” in mind.
Of course, independence and development were not achieved on their own. On this blessed day, we cannot help but remember the courage of our ancestors who fought for the freedom, liberty, and prosperity of the people. Thanks to the restoration of historical justice and truth, the names of the victims of repression and progressive youth who sacrificed their lives for our national independence have been restored. The struggle of our ancestors, who are the pride of the nation, for the peace and freedom of the Motherland, will always be a great example for our people, especially today's youth.
Today, the multinational people of Uzbekistan, dedicated scientists, educated and intelligent youth are working for the prosperity of our Motherland and making a worthy contribution to its rise.
In turn, I sincerely congratulate our noble and kind people, our hardworking compatriots on the 33rd anniversary of state independence and wish everyone peace and tranquility, family happiness, health and well-being.
“If we are united, we are one people, if we unite, we are our Motherland!” The glory of our greatest and most sacred holiday - Independence Day, which embodies the main idea - will continue in our families and in our hearts. The idea of independence, the spirit of independence will always be a mountain-like support for our people.
May the sky of our homeland be clear, its borders inviolable, our borders strong, our life more prosperous, our independence and prosperity eternal! May our young and unique country always be filled with peace, tranquility and prosperity, and may your life and your home never be devoid of blessings and joy. I wish you great success and good luck in your efforts for the prosperity of our homeland.
