WE ARE NOT INDIFFERENT TO THE FATE OF GRADUATES!

Becoming a graduate of higher education is a very joyful and exciting event not only for graduates, but also for parents and teachers. Because we see another practical result of our efforts, the future of our nation and our country, in the form of young people who have conquered the second step of the laborious ladder of science. At the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnologies, thanks to many years of work in the educational process, young people have achieved bachelor's and master's degrees through the assessment given by teachers.


It should be said that a number of systematic works are being carried out in our country to further expand the coverage of young people with higher education and to ensure the employment of graduates on this basis. It is not for nothing that the owners of the created opportunities are being mobilized so that they can get a free education and make a worthy contribution to the development of the new Uzbekistan in various spheres of the state and society. At the heart of this are noble goals such as a prosperous life, a free and prosperous Motherland, a healthy future, and a happy life.

At this point, it should be mentioned that at the meeting of the video selector dedicated to the priority tasks of ensuring the employment of students of higher educational institutions held on March 4 of this year under the leadership of the President, ensuring the employment of students who are studying in higher education institutions and need to earn additional income was determined as one of the important tasks.




A number of positive activities are being carried out in our university to fulfill this task.

In particular, 1,067,000 students graduated from the university in the 2022/2023 academic year. Employment of 911 of them was ensured. 825 of the employed students were employed in their specialties, and in the 2023/2024 academic year, a total of 1309 bachelor's students, 5 master's students in 4 specialties graduated from the university in 19 fields of study. 4 students studied with excellent grades and received honors diplomas.

Complete information about these students was provided to the regional offices through the ministry. This is of particular importance in ensuring the employment of graduates.




Also, on April 27 of this year, an open dialogue and "Career Day" were held at the university on the issue of ensuring the employment of graduates in their specialties. The representatives of enterprises and organizations with vacancies participated in the labor fair held in cooperation with the Samarkand regional branch of the State Service Development Agency, the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee, and the Regional Directorate of Poverty Alleviation and Employment.

According to the results of the survey, 658 students expressed their desire to work, and 380 students received employment permits. 201 of them signed the contract.

Another thing is that the organization of transfer of students to large enterprises, organizations, clusters that provide stable practice of qualification practices, starting from 2022 in advanced companies of foreign countries has been established, and this is an important factor in the choice of the profession and life path of the graduating students. It should be noted that the university has established cooperation with more than 60 large companies, clusters and other enterprises, and it is planned to provide employment for 1500 students by the end of the year.




In order to ensure the implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 31, 2022 "On the fundamental reform of personnel training in the field of veterinary and animal husbandry", measures to improve the training of qualified personnel in the field of veterinary, animal husbandry and food safety at the university, and to organize veterinary education at the level of world standards plan has been developed. Based on this plan, the university has been implementing projects in cooperation with a number of prestigious foreign higher education institutions, companies and organizations in education, science and other fields. As of today, there are contracts, agreements, memorandums with 80 foreign partners. As a result of this cooperation, in the academic year 2023-2024, 6 Turkey, 1 Russia, 20 Belarus, 2 Romania, 2 Latvia, 15 Kyrgyzstan, 2 Iran, 30 students and 20 graduate students of Kazakhstan National Agrarian Research of Kazakhstan University, South Kazakhstan University named after M.Avezov, 5 professors went on a business trip to the Minnesota University of the United States of America, and 2 of our professors went on a business trip to the West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technological University named after Jangir Khan of Kazakhstan. In turn, 100 foreign professors and official delegations visited the university.




Also, in 2018, a memorandum was signed between the two HESs in 3 directions on the implementation of joint educational programs with the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine of the Republic of Belarus with the Order of the Badge of Honor, and in the 2023-2024 academic year, 11 of our first graduates received a double diploma. Currently, 3 of our students are studying in 4 stages in this direction. In 2023-2024, 4 of our students completed their studies in the field of Veterinary Pharmacy and Zootechnics of the Academy and returned to our country with foreign diplomas and experience. The staff of the Latvian University of Natural Sciences and Technologies of the Republic of Latvia in the field of "Innovative technologies of preservation and processing of livestock products" and master's education in the field of education "Food education, innovative technologies of cultivation, preservation and processing of agricultural products and certification" training has been started, and in the 2023-2024 academic year, our first master's student received two diplomas. Currently, 2 of our master's students are continuing their studies.




For information, it should be said that due to the direct care of our honorable President and the wide opportunities created for young people, the achievements of the students of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnologies are significant at the international, republican, and regional levels. In order to support active young scientists, graduate students and talented students, to help them introduce their scientific research work and projects to various sectors of the national economy, to further support start-up projects, today there are a total of 30 science and scientific circles at the university. established. About 1,700 students of the university are participating in scientific research activities in various directions in existing scientific circles.

On November 27, 2023, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with the regional branch of IT-Park Samarkand "Directorate of the technological park of software products and information technologies" in order to increase startup projects, prepare students for republican and international competitions and participate at a high level.

Based on the order of the Chairman of the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 26, 2024, more than 30 of our youth won the Republican Science Olympiad in 10 disciplines held on April 4-6 of this year among students of higher educational institutions under the control of the Committee.

Among the graduates of the current academic year alone, there are 1 State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1 State Scholarship named after "Islam Karimov" and 1 State Scholarship named after "Beruniy". one of our students was among the winners of the Republican Science Olympiad.

14 of the researchers engaged in scientific activity have a doctor of philosophy (PhD), 1 defended their DSc theses, 2 candidates passed the scientific seminar and were recommended to the scientific council f In addition, the mega project "Scientific business incubator for intensive training of personnel for the development of veterinary, biotechnology and animal husbandry in Uzbekistan" was launched at the university. This project incorporates all the possibilities to establish an effective system of training of scientific personnel, commercialization and introduction of scientific research into production, organization of student practice and creation of a full self-financing mechanism.

Today, the project consists of 46 scientific teams, including 33 performers under the age of 40, 8 performers under the age of 45, 5 independent researchers under the age of 60, masters and students who are conducting their scientific and research work on more than 14 animal species. .or defense, and 18 candidates were discussed by the department.

In general, the future of the country, the success of all areas and projects depends on educated, broad-minded, modern-minded people who are masters of their profession. Therefore, special attention is being paid to the development of education and human capital in our country. Today, the educational process conducted at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnologies lays the groundwork for our students to create a solid foundation for tomorrow.
