The Rector of the University, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, received a delegation of Turkish veterinary and animal husbandry specialists led by Mehmet Kaya, Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Kayalar Group.
The university held a round table discussion on the topic "Issues of development of livestock breeding and breeding between the republics of Uzbekistan and Turkey, construction of modern livestock complexes and effective use of resource-saving technologies", during which the mechanism for implementing promising projects in the field of livestock breeding was discussed.
In particular, the proposal to assist Turkish specialists in exporting meat and dairy pedigree cattle to Uzbekistan, and to launch pilot projects based on the introduction of Turkish experience in collecting milk from farms and households was approved.
Also, students, researchers and professors of the university agreed to study at the BURDUR MEHMET AKIF ERSOY UNIVERSITY in Turkey with the company's grant funds and to organize student internships at enterprises owned by the company.
The issues of cooperation in the establishment of breeding centers in our country, the organization of quarantine zones for livestock in border areas, and the supply of chemicals necessary for the production of high-yielding animal feed were also discussed.
Mehmet Kaya, Chairman of the Board of the Kayalar Group Company, was also awarded the title of "Honorary Professor" of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.
