An international scientific-practical conference on this topic was held at
the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and
Biotechnology.
At the conference, the representative of the United Nations Organization for Agriculture and Food Security in Uzbekistan, professors of the University of Minnesota of the United States of America, the Karaganda Technical University and the National Agrarian University of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Research Institute of Cattle Breeding and Desert Ecology, Livestock and representatives of the Poultry Research Institute and professors and teachers of the university took part.
The
Rector of the University, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, who opened the
conference with his opening speech, called for cooperation between scientific
institutions and representatives of the field in order to fully meet the demand
of the population of our country for livestock products, to create a solid feed
base for their cultivation, to create breeds that are productive and suitable
for local climatic conditions. In order
to fully satisfy their requirements for feed, he touched on the ongoing work on
the development of scientifically based norms and rations for all types of
livestock, and emphasized that the issues and proposals discussed at this
conference will serve the development of the industry.
Alisher Safarov, head of the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee, said that our government should rapidly develop the animal husbandry industry, introduce modern and innovative methods, increase the volume of production, expand the variety of products, as well as continuously provide the population with quality, cheap livestock products produced in local conditions. , in particular, expressed his opinion about the positive work carried out by the Committee.
