Currently, the vice-rector of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology O. Achilov, the head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Y. Salimov and the basic doctoral student B. Abulsaidov are at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir, Turkey.
The purpose of the visit is to sign an international cooperation memorandum with Turkey's Dokuz Eylul University and to develop a joint international project.
O. Achilov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of the university, made a presentation on the exchange of international experience in cooperation in the fields of veterinary and biotechnology training and increasing the prestige of universities.  During his speech, he introduced the experience of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies, and made mutually beneficial suggestions about the mechanisms for the development of cooperation between the two universities.
After that, a Memorandum was signed between Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology and Dokuz Eylul University of Turkey, expressing the desire to implement bilateral cooperation in order to train scientific personnel and develop science in the field, in order to establish effective and mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged souvenirs.
