Rector of Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, Professor H.B. Yunusov Faculty of Biotechnology 60710200-Biotechnology (on networks) educational direction 2nd grade 201-202 held lectures and training classes.
"Plant Physiology and Biochemistry", rector of our university, professor H.B. Yunusov's lesson on "Nutrition of plants from the soil. Mechanism of entry of mineral salts through the root system" (physiological sour, alkaline and neutral salts) was interesting and full of debates for students and young people.
During the training, the students were given an understanding of the methods of nutrition of plants, the bioorganic and mineral composition of the soil, how much mineral elements depend on the physiological activity of plants, the importance of organic and mineral salts for the growth and development of plants, how much water and dissolved substances in the soil are necessary for the life of plants.
The water in the soil and the nutrients dissolved in it first move to the root hairs and then to the bark cells located next to them. Water absorbed from cell to cell and nutrients dissolved in it reach the conducting part of the root and rise from there to the upper part of the plant. The absorption of mineral elements into the cell first begins at the cell membrane and then continues through the membrane. Cellulose mainly consists of cellulose, hemicellulose and pectin. Pectin contains carboxyl groups and has cation exchange properties. This creates conditions for the accumulation of positively charged substances. As a result, ions diffuse from the soil solution to the cell membrane.
Students received detailed answers to the questions they were interested in on this topic. The lesson was organized in an upbeat mood.
