CORRUPTION IS THE BIGGEST OBSTACLE TO REFORMS

In our country, systematic work is being carried out to combat corruption, and measures are being taken to increase the legal awareness and legal culture of the population. In order to make every citizen aware of it and further increase their understanding in this regard, large-scale propaganda work is being carried out.

On March 5 of this year, at a meeting of the National Council for Combating Corruption, chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the head of our state analyzed the work carried out in the fight against corruption in our country and set important tasks.

At the meeting, it was noted that there is a lack of good practices in our society in terms of appreciating peace and stability in our country, understanding the difference between yesterday and today, avoiding excessive waste in the neighborhood and at weddings, and explaining how to live a life with honesty and gratitude. Another important aspect was emphasized, that school principals should explain to our boys and girls, in simple language, such noble ideas as honesty and not betraying someone's rights, within the framework of the subject "Education".

Our university has also launched "Education without Corruption", in which the main factor is the creation of a healthy environment between teacher and student, great attention is paid to openness and transparency. Meetings of leaders and youth are held regularly, and a new system of working with individual appeals has been created.

It is also emphasized at the meetings that all employees must perform their duties honestly, conscientiously, at a high professional level and without exceeding their authority, maintain their honor and dignity in any situation, adhere to the rules of etiquette and professional ethics, be modest, polite, not be rude to anyone, and refrain from actions that may discredit the name of a teacher and damage his reputation.

In conclusion, we can say that corruption is a complex social phenomenon, and the use of separate measures to combat it is not considered effective, the fight against corruption requires the cooperation of the state and society. After all, the reforms being carried out in this direction can only produce the desired result if citizens are also active.

Therefore, we need to strengthen public control in the fight against corruption, and we all need to work together. In this, we need to act with the understanding that the goal and object of anti-corruption activities is not the individual corrupt person, but rather the measures to eliminate and prevent the circumstances that create the conditions for these actions.
