As part of the "Anti-Corruption Month" dedicated to "December 9 - International Anti-Corruption Day", approved by the minutes of the meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Council of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 10 dated August 23, 2023, university professors and teachers, students and youth are instructed to fight against corruption The report of F. Turaev, the head of the management department of the "compliance-control" system for combating corruption, was heard on the work being carried out at the university in order to raise awareness about corruption and to create an intolerant anti-corruption culture.

"For Uzbekistan, which is entering a new stage of development, any form of corruption is dangerous because it slows down the pace of reforms. That is why the first document signed by the head of our state as the President was the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Combating Corruption", says university rector H. Yunusov.
In order to ensure the effective implementation of the norms of the adopted law, timely and high-quality implementation of measures to prevent corruption in all spheres of society and state life, by the decision of the President of February 2, 2017 "State program to fight against corruption for 2017-2018 » was accepted. Within the framework of the program, a number of draft laws were developed, and the existing ones were inventoried. In general, the analysis of the work done in recent years shows that systematic measures have been taken aimed at increasing the legal consciousness and legal culture of the population, forming an intolerant attitude towards corruption in the society.
As part of the implementation of the reforms, the mechanisms for protecting the rights and interests of citizens, ensuring the openness of the activities of state authorities and administrative bodies, and public and parliamentary control were improved, as well as the legal basis of the activities of law enforcement and judicial bodies were reformed. Experts have expressed their opinion on the implementation of these laws during their careers.
At the end of the event, the competition of essays on the topic "We will fight against corruption together" and the competition of videos on the topic "We young people are against corruption" were held in the framework of the "International Anti-Corruption Day". A selection of the best posters on the topic of "Corruption Development Forum".
