October 18-28 of this year, representatives of the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and 4 professors of the university participated in the "Twinning Program" international program Animal Health and Food Safety of the University of Minnesotaare participating in training courses organized in the center.based on the training program, professors and teachers enter the interactive classes of professors and teachers of the college of veterinary medicine of the university, learn their teaching methods, establish a relationship with students, work with the online platform, evaluate the knowledge of students and teach them to study sciencethey are learning about their experiences of interest.at the same time, they are familiar with the opportunities created for students to learn and engage in scientific and practical activities at the college. including visiting the college's small animal clinic to provide quality and routine veterinary care to pets (vaccination, counseling, performing various surgeries, and advising pet owners on treatment and disease prevention)they learnedthe clinic is mostly filled with graduate students, there are 80 professors and 140 technical staff. Also, the activity of the Minnesota State Animal Disease and Food Safety Laboratory, established under the collegemet withconducted an interview with the director and employees of the laboratory about the work process in all existing departments of the laboratory, the available modern diagnostic equipment and types of services. a total of 200 professors and technicians work in the laboratory and they are responsible for animal health in the stategot acquainted with the processing workshop.to the participation of students in the processes from pre- and post-slaughter inspection of the animal brought to the poultry house, execution of slaughtering processes, meat quality assessment and categorization, to primary processing in the shop, to consumption as ready-made meat products (sausages, sausages)witnessed.the sale of these products at the university itself and delivery to other stores has been established.
