2021 was named in our country the “Year of Supporting Youth and Improving the Health of the Population”, in this regard, during the meeting of the video conference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the implementation of the tasks set to ensure youth employment and the meaningful organization of their free time, special attention was paid to the organization of free time for young people. At the meeting, it was especially noted that henceforth it is necessary to consistently hold various festivals and competitions, to interest young people in sports, culture and art, to send them to prestigious international competitions.
The forum “Youth of New Uzbekistan, unite!” is aimed at ensuring the implementation of these tasks. The youth forum under this slogan is held in all regions, organizations and institutions of our country.
Today, the Second Youth Forum was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology. It was attended by students of the Tashkent and Nukus branches of the university, students of a technical school and an academic lyceum. The forum was held in a joyful atmosphere and high spirits.
At this forum, within the framework of the "Five Important Initiatives", the works of circles of creative youth were presented: "The Magic of Colors", "Cooking Girls", "National Costumes"; performances of circles - "Musical youth" and "Student theater studios" were demonstrated, competitions of teams - "Cheerful and resourceful" were held. In general, about thirty cultural and educational events were held, including table tennis competitions for the "Rector's Cup", chess competitions for the "Committee Chairman's Cup", intellectual games - "Discussion-debate" and "Zakovat" .
At the end of the forum, the graduates of the university announced the “Veterinary Oath”, and following the results of the competitions, a graduation ceremony was held.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem.
Opening the event, the rector of the university, Professor Khudainazar Yunusov, emphasized that the main goal of this forum is to further instill in the minds of young people the essence of the five important initiatives put forward by the President, to encourage talented youth and, most importantly, to meaningfully organize the free time of unorganized youth, which will undoubtedly serve an important factor in the development of the younger generation of our country, the unimpeded implementation of their goals and ideas, a peaceful and prosperous life, and further improving the effectiveness of state policy towards youth.
