"VETERINARY CURES HUMANITY" HAPPY INTERNATIONAL VETERINARY DAY!
HAPPY INTERNATIONAL VETERINARY DAY!
Today, humanity faces many problems that require a global solution. The most important of these is the problem of food safety, as well as the spread of infectious diseases that occur in an environment where the life of people and animals is interconnected. In addition to causing great economic damage to countries, diseases always pose a great threat to human life.
In our country, all legal foundations have been created for this, preventive measures against epizootics are regularly carried out in accordance with the Law “On Veterinary Medicine”. Basically, the spread of infectious diseases dangerous to humans and animals that can be introduced from abroad is prevented, and a stable epizootic situation is maintained.
Every year on the last Saturday of April, World Veterinary Day is celebrated in different parts of the world. This profession is currently considered one of the most important, responsible and, at the same time, highly paid in the world.
In 2000, at the initiative of the International Veterinary Association, it was decided to celebrate the last Saturday of April as "International Veterinary Day", so that society would realize the importance of veterinary medicine and its significance for human development, in order to raise the prestige of veterinary organizations and veterinary doctors, and this day is celebrated as a holiday in almost every country in the world.
The development of this infrastructure in Uzbekistan serves to ensure epizootic and epidemic stability in the regions, provide the population with safe and edible food, and develop international trade relations. Uzbekistan has been a member of the World Organization for Animal Health since 1992.
Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, the only one in Central Asia, trains specialists in this field. Today, more than 6,500 students study at the educational center.
Starting from the 2022-2023 academic year, the educational process in an educational institution is organized on the basis of improved curricula and educational programs that meet international requirements. The educational process in all educational areas and specialties of the university is organized on the basis of a credit-modular system and is conducted on the HEMIS platform. In terms of introducing new information and pedagogical technologies into the educational process, educational seminars, trainings, master classes, open lectures and practices, laboratory classes are organized taking into account the characteristics of areas and specialties, the formation of pedagogical skills among young talented and capable teachers is carried out.
Currently, 381 faculty members work at the university.
23 people from the teaching staff from the leading universities of foreign countries are involved in the educational process of the university offline and online.
The purpose of providing information is that the head of our country, personally our President, pays great attention to the development of the industry, and the system is being improved and developed on the basis of a separate state program.
It is worth honoring the owners of this profession. In many countries around the world, Veterinary Day is celebrated to raise awareness and widely publicize the work in this area. Communicating with animals is not an easy task. It takes a lot of courage, patience and high knowledge to deal with those who cannot tell their doctor about their pain.
In the modern world, this industry is also very developed. Today's veterinarians are well-educated and modern personnel.
Congratulations to all dedicated professionals on the International Professional Holiday - Veterinarian's Day!
We are grateful to them for our prosperous life, full dastarkhan and health!
