Today, at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, celebrations on the theme of "Holy Woman" were held under the motto "Respecting women - a noble value of our people" dedicated to March 8 - International Women's Day.
Rector of the university, Professor Hudaynazar Yunusov, opened the festive evening with a congratulatory speech and congratulated all the guests and participants of the event. In his speech, the speaker emphasized the attention paid to women and girls in our society at the level of state policy.
"- Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies has a total of 775 professors, teachers and employees, 295 of them, more than 6 and a half thousand students - 32% of the youth, i.e. 1632, are women.
If we imagine the university as a family, women are the pride and pride of our family, our big family. Our life with them is beautiful, happy and happy. I am always proud that among them there are women scientists who are well-known in our country, excellent and knowledgeable students, and hardworking and selfless employees. Two of our students who received state scholarships this year are girls.
As a result of the attention shown to them, the contract funds of 16 of our students studying at the Master's department of our university are being paid by the state!" - said the head of the educational institution Professor Yunusov in his speech.
During the event, the order of the rector of the university was read out by Alibek Gaffarov, the first vice-rector for youth issues and spiritual-educational affairs. According to him, on the occasion of the holiday, it was announced that all women, wives and girls working in the educational institution were given monetary awards from the budget funds.
After that, at the event, the university rector's "Certificate of Honor" and "Thank you" were presented to selfless women and girls who rendered special service in the field of education.
Thanks to the efforts of Jamila Sayfiddinova, Rector's adviser on women and girls' issues, senior teachers and enlightened mothers were also invited to the event. Teachers who have been active in the university for many years and are currently retired added more interest to the circle. Special respect was shown to them and festive gifts were presented.
Performances of artists and creative students - young people enlivened the circle. After that, all the guests continued the night around the festive table.
