Kurbanova Shakhnoza graduated from the Zooengineering Faculty of the Samarkand Agricultural Institute in 2002. In 2012, she received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of agricultural sciences, specialty 02/06/03 – "Private animal husbandry. Technology of production of livestock products"
Based on the results of scientific research, she has published about 100 scientific articles, 2 textbook, 1 recommendations,  2 methodological manuals.
Currently, along with participation in the ongoing reforms in the republic, the development of scientific and methodological activities of the department and faculty is involved in attracting students, masters, applicants and doctorates to scientific research.

Bakhrom Bakhtiyarovich Norboyev graduated from Samarkand Agricultural Institute in 2008. 06.02.03 in 2022 - "Private zootechnics. He received the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in agricultural sciences, specializing in the technology of production of livestock products.
Based on the results of scientific research, he has published about 15 scientific articles. Currently, he is participating in the development of the scientific-methodical activity of the department and the faculty, and the involvement of students and young people in scientific research.

Dekhkanov Bobur Bakhodirovich graduated from the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. In 2023 he received a master's degree in animal husbandry. Based on the results of scientific research, he published about 10 scientific articles.
Currently, along with the reforms carried out in our Republic, he is involved in the development of scientific and innovative activities of the department and faculty, attracting students and youth to scientific research, increasing the efficiency of scientific circles, expanding the scope of national and international projects.

 Ibragimov Davron Maksudovich graduated from the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. In 2022, he received a master's degree in poultry science.
Based on the results of scientific research, he published about 10 scientific articles.
Currently, along with the reforms carried out in our Republic, he is involved in the development of scientific and innovative activities of the department and faculty, the involvement of students and youth in scientific research, and increasing the effectiveness of scientific circles. 

Department: yesterday and today

The department is a structural subdivision of the Faculty of Zoological Engineering of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology. At the Department of Private Animal Science for bachelors and masters there are such subjects as Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Fundamentals of Animal Husbandry,  Innovations in animal husbandry, Dairy farming, Beekeeping, Biological foundations of fish farming, Cattle breeding and behavioral characteristics of farm animals, Breeding work in animal husbandry, Experimentation in animal husbandry, Poultry farming and innovative technologies for egg production, Technology of intensive chicken rearing, Technology for preparing poultry products for export, Educational and methodological, scientific and methodological, research, work on the production sciences of livestock products, as well as training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel, advanced training and organizational, spiritual, educational and educational work.
The department has a research laboratory that provides educational and scientific process, information technology lecture halls, classrooms for practical classes, a modern laboratory “Dairy work”, an educational and experimental room “Poultry farming”. The department includes the head of the department, 1 associate professor. (PhD) Associate Professor V.B. O.A.Makhmadiyarov, 1 professor A.G.Mannapov, 2 associate professors Yu.A.Ermatov, M.K.Narbaeva, 3 associate professors. (PhD) Kurbonova Sh.E., Akhtamova M.T., Norboev B.B., 3 assistants Gapparov Sh.T., Ibragimov D., Dekhkanov B. and head of the laboratory Ochilova Z.J. In total, the department employs 1 professor, 2 candidates of science, associate professor, 4 candidates of science, 3 assistants without academic degrees.
The scientific potential of the department is 70 %, the average age is 47.6 years.
