                                                                        Biography
Khodjaeva Nasiba Zhorakulovna was born on August 23, 1961 in Boyovut district, Syrdarya region. In 1979-1984, she studied at the Faculty of Biology of Samarkand State University. From 1984 to 2002, she worked as an assistant, senior teacher, associate professor and head of department at the Department of "Botany and Ecology" of Gulistan State University. In 1997, she defended her candidate's thesis on the topic "Water regime and drought resistance of some local and introduced wheat varieties". Since 2002, she worked as an associate professor at the "Botany and Plant Physiology" department of Samarkand Agricultural Institute, and then as the head of the department. In 2018, she is an associate professor of the "Biotechnology" department, and since 2019, she has been working as the head of the department. The author of the textbook "Soil biology and ecology". Author of more than 150 scientific articles, recommendations. In 2022, she published the monograph "Hard Wheat". He graduated from National University of Uzbekistan in 2016. At the moment, she is working on her doctoral dissertation.

On June 2, 2018, the Department of Biotechnology was established at the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Biotechnology, Livestock Products Processing, by the order of 60 people of the rector of the institute. Since the establishment of the department, PhD, B.M. Eshonkulov has been leading it until October 2019. Currently, it is managed by Associate Professor N.J. Khodjayeva. Also in the department:
