Biography
Safarova Lola Ulmasovna was born on January 10, 1981 in the Samarkand district of the Samarkand region. In 1999-2003 she studied at the bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics of the Samarkand State University, and in 2005-2007 she studied at the magistracy of the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies. In 2008 - 2013 she worked at the College of Consumer Services of the Samarkand region, as a teacher of computer science and head of the department of technical sciences. From 2013 to the present, her activities are associated with the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine. Currently works as the head of the Department of Information Technology. In 2022, she defended her PhD thesis on "Fuzzy-logical algorithms for diagnosing diseases in cattle" at the Research Institute for the Development of Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence. This is fully consistent with the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-120 “On approval of the program for the development of the livestock sector and its industries in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2022-2026” (February 8, 2022)”, that is, the use of information and communication technologies in the veterinary field. For the first time, she developed models and algorithms for diagnosing diseases in cattle and software in Uzbekistan. The relevance of the dissertation work was that it helps to create an automated system in veterinary medicine and is a system assistant for a veterinarian. She is the author of more than 35 scientific articles and 5 software certificates and the author of more than 7 articles in the Scopus database and in this database the h-index is -3, and in the Google Scholar database the h-index is 4 . 2022 winner in the nomination "Best Innovative Project" of the competition of young women scientists in the Samarkand region. She is currently working on her doctoral dissertation.

The Department of Information Technology at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology is a new department for the 2022-2023 academic year. The department has 1 professor, 2 associate professors, 1 senior lecturer and 6 teachers. The department has 3 computer classes equipped with new modern computers. Classes at the department are conducted using modern information, communication and Internet technologies.
