On June 2 of this year, a meeting with graduates from Bukhara was organized at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology by the head and sector officials of the Bukhara Regional Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development.
The meeting was opened by the rector of the university, Professor Kh.B. Yunusov, and opinions were expressed on ensuring the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-61 dated February 14, 2025 “On additional measures to assist graduates of higher education institutions in finding employment”, the fact that today the university has a large number of students from all regions of our republic, including the Bukhara region, 75 of these students will graduate from the university in full-time and part-time forms of education in the 2024-2025 academic year, and that the issue of their employment is one of the urgent issues of today.
During the meeting, the head of the Bukhara regional veterinary and livestock development department, Rakhmatov Nasir Abdullayevich, spoke and introduced the current state of the livestock sector in the Bukhara region and its future plans. During the event, a group of scientists who have worked in various leadership positions for the development of this sector for many years also expressed their opinions.
Also at this event, the head of the livestock department of the Bukhara Agrocluster LLC, Amanboyeva Nargiza Makhmudaliyevna, provided detailed information about the LLC specializing in large-scale livestock farming in the Bukhara region and provided information about job vacancies in the field for graduates.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs A.A. Elmurodov, Head of the Registrar's Office O.S. Boymatov, deans of faculties and professors.
At the end of the event, the responsible leaders presented commemorative gifts to a group of university professors and teachers who had mentored them during their studies at the university, as well as to graduating students who actively participated in industrial practices.
