"PREVENTION OF PARASITIC DISEASES, INNOVATIVE APPROACH TO THEIR TREATMENT"




Opinions on this topic were expressed at the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.

     Opening the conference with an introductory speech, the rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, spoke about the work being carried out in our country on the treatment and diagnosis of parasitic diseases, including the rich experience accumulated at the university in this regard. At the same time, he expressed his opinion on the importance of using modern medical equipment and high-tech equipment in this process, noting that all practical work being carried out in this regard is scientific and practical work aimed at providing our people with quality food products.

     Also at the conference, Alisher Safarov, Head of the Department of the Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee, expressed his opinion on the relevance and necessity of the topic, noting that parasitic diseases are widespread in the world and are considered one of the urgent problems in the healthcare system. According to WHO, more than 24 percent of the world's population is infected with parasitic diseases, and parasitic diseases are frequently observed not only in developing countries, but also in developed countries. He recognized the scientific and practical work carried out by the Committee and the university team in this regard, and wished the conference success.

     At the conference, Nikolai Ivanovich Gavrichenko, Rector of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine of the Republic of Belarus, M.S. Osimi from the Technical University of Tajikistan, Director of the Veterinary Research Institute, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Bozorboy Elmurodov, expressed their opinions on the topic, noting that many diseases can be transmitted from animals to humans, even some of which are fatal, which is especially dangerous for the health and life of people involved in livestock farming, and therefore it is important to take timely measures to ensure the health of livestock, thereby protecting the health of both animals and people, and noted that it is important that attention is paid to these aspects at the conference.

     The conference continued with sections on "Modern methods of treatment and prevention of parasitic diseases of animals", "Biology and ecology of pathogens of parasitic diseases", "The role of veterinary parasitology in ensuring food safety" and "The importance of biological sciences in the innovative development of veterinary and animal husbandry".
