Germany recognizes uzbekistan’s export power in agriculture

The university was visited by specialists from the German company GFA Consulting Group GmbH. It is known that the negotiations on the development of the Bilateral Cooperation Program (BIC) funded by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) are underway in Tashkent. The Cooperation Program covers a number of important issues for the agricultural sector of Uzbekistan, including the support of organic agriculture, trade in agricultural products and their financing, which are directly related to food security. The project leader, Mr. Malta Müller, General Agent of GFA Consulting Group GmbH, Ms. Zigred Ginke, International Expert, Agricultural Engineer, Mr. Uwe Viddige, Agronomist, Project Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the State Committee for Veterinary and Livestock Development Deputy Head of Communications F. The Safaevs got acquainted with the potential of the University and the activities of educational and scientific laboratories. The guests were accompanied by the Vice-Rector of SamDVMChBU, Professor Asadulla Daminov.
Germany is a developed country not only in Europe but also in the world, according to statistics, it is the fourth largest exporter of goods in the world, the fifth largest importer of raw materials, and the food industry is one of the leading sectors of the German economy. The guests noted that Germany pays special attention to the mechanization of agriculture. Only 2-3% of the population (more than 82 million people in Germany) work in this field and achieve high results. High results are being achieved due to the introduction of new agro-industrial technologies and mechanization of agriculture. Wheat grown in Germany meets 80 percent of the country's needs, 85 percent of sugar, 60 percent of meat and 100 percent of milk. Three-quarters of agricultural production comes from livestock. At the same time, the specific climate of German agriculture creates conditions for Uzbek agricultural producers to enter the food market. This is the purpose of this project.
According to the project, the specialists will develop sustainable German methods of farming, animal husbandry, as well as farm management skills, taking into account modern technologies, taking into account the conditions of Uzbekistan, and establish close cooperation with scientists and researchers of SamDVMChBU.
One of the main directions of the bilateral cooperation project is the supply of ecologically clean food products produced in our country to German markets, the presentation of Uzbek brand products at international exhibitions and fairs, the establishment of logistics companies and the demonstration of Uzbekistan's export potential.
Representatives of the company will be guests in our country from June 21 to June 27. They will get acquainted with the work carried out on farms engaged in animal husbandry and other sectors of agriculture.
