Bakhtiyor Dalievich Narziyev has 43 years of professional experience and has been serving as Head of the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Obstetrics since 2020. He holds a PhD in Veterinary Sciences and is a professor.
He was born in 1954 in Pastdargom District, Samarkand Region. He is Uzbek by nationality and has a higher education degree. In 1976, he graduated from the Samarkand Agricultural Institute with a specialization in veterinary sciences. In 2018, he served as the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine. Since 2020, he has been the Head of the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Obstetrics.
He was a postgraduate researcher at the Moscow Veterinary Academy, where he conducted scientific research starting in 1978. In 1982, he successfully defended his dissertation titled:
"Topographic Anatomy of the Lymphatic System of the Carpal Joint, Forearm, and Elbow Joint and Surgical Approaches to the Main Lymphatic Collectors in Large Cattle."

He is a member of the Scientific Seminar under the Dissertation Council DSc.06/30.12.2019.V.12.01. at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock, and Biotechnology, where he actively participates in the discussions of doctoral dissertations.
He has undergone internships at leading academies and universities in Turkey and the Russian Federation. He contributes significantly to enhancing the international reputation of the university, developing its material and technical base, and facilitating academic exchange programs for students and faculty.
He actively works on improving the educational process, enhancing the scientific potential of students, modernizing national educational standards for bachelor's and master's programs, analyzing and optimizing curricula and course programs.
