Nasriddin Khalilov graduated from Samarkand State University in 1967-1972. In 1997, he became an Associate Professor of the Department of Crop Science, and from 1997 to 1999, he worked as a Professor of the Department of Crop Science..

Duties and responsibilities

He is currently serving as the Head of the Department of Plant Science and Forage Production.

• His responsibilities include:
• Organizing the department's educational, scientific-research, and spiritual-enlightenment activities in accordance with modern requirements.
• Developing the department's curriculum and academic programs.
• Ensuring the formation of all necessary competencies in students and guaranteeing their high level of expertise as professionals.
• Monitoring the quality of lectures delivered by the department's professors and instructors and ensuring proper teaching standards.
• Addressing issues related to students' industrial internships.
• Supervising methodological support within the department, creating educational materials, and developing new-generation textbooks.
• Conducting active scientific research.
• Supervising students in writing course papers and theses.
• Actively participating in career guidance for prospective students.
• Providing mentorship and methodological assistance to young faculty members.
• Ensuring the work of the scientific-methodological commission for the respective specialty.
• Improving and updating the department's material and technical base.
