On October 21, the day when the Uzbek language was granted the status of the state language, a literary and artistic evening called "My Motherland - My Pride" was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology, celebrating the greatness, richness and uniqueness of our language.


The evening organized at the Samarkand State University Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology was attended by professors and students of the university.


The event was opened by the rector of the university, Professor Kh. Yunusov, and congratulated the participants on the day when the Uzbek language was recognized as the state language. Congratulating everyone on this auspicious day, the rector noted that in recent years, like all sectors and industries in Uzbekistan, our political and practical work to further enhance the value and prestige of our native language has reached a new level, and this can be clearly seen in the example of the historical decrees and resolutions adopted to radically increase the status and prestige of the Uzbek language as the state language.
