"FACTORS OF IMPROVING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN THE FIELDS OF AGRICULTURE, FORESTRY, FISH AND VETERINARY KNOWLEDGE"
The Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Committee for the Development of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry, and Tashkent State Agrarian University, held the III Republican Educational and Methodological Seminar on this topic.
Opening the seminar, the rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, noted that today the labor market does not have an increasing need for highly qualified competitive personnel, that to improve the quality of education, it is necessary, first of all, to prepare educational and methodological normative documents at the international level, to improve the curricula of the Top 300 universities in accordance with our regional and national values, and the nature of our educational areas, that we have studied the curricula of the veterinary field at 30 foreign higher educational institutions: Minnesota (USA), Padova Pisa (Italy), Dresden, Weinstein (Germany), Wageningen (Netherlands), Queensland (Australia), Moscow Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, Vitebsk Veterinary Academy (Belarus), Jelgava University of Biosciences and Technologies (Latvia) and many other universities. In 2023, experts from the International Epizootic Bureau During the visit to the university, positive feedback was expressed on the developed curricula and issues of preparation for international accreditation were agreed upon.
Also, Elbek Togaimurodov, Chief Specialist of the Department for the Development of Science, Education and Innovations of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Sobir Mavlonov, Deputy Head of the Department for the Development of Innovative Activities, Science and Education of the State Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock of the Republic of Uzbekistan, spoke and touched upon the work being carried out to direct the educational process in system educational institutions to the formation of practical skills, to widely introduce advanced pedagogical technologies, curricula and innovative teaching and methodological materials based on international educational standards, to create the necessary conditions to ensure the harmony of theoretical knowledge and practice in veterinary clinics, educational and scientific laboratories, educational experimental farms, production and processing enterprises, and to create a continuous education system for the training, retraining and advanced training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel.

Islamov, head of the educational and methodological department of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies I. Mamajonov, head of the educational and methodological department of the Karakalpakstan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies P. Seitmurotov, director of the Samarkand Technical School of Veterinary Medicine under the University, professor S. Bazarov, and others expressed their opinions on the topic.
