THE RECTOR MET THE MASTERS

Rector of Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and biotechnologies Kh.B. Yunusov held a roundtable discussion with master's students of the Faculty of Veterinary Prevention and Treatment and the Faculty of Veterinary Diagnostics and Food Safety.
In this discussion the rector once again mentioned the need to direct the students studying in each educational specialty of the university to scientific research, the problems encountered by students, ways to solve them, and the tasks of masters in this process.
As a result of the activities of university students in the field of scientific research work, it is clear that there are important problems for students and masters who want to engage in scientific research work at the university.
These problems are:
1. Inability to choose the topic of scientific research correctly.
2. Ignorance of scientific research methods and their use.
3. Inability to independently prepare plans for scientific research work.
4. Difficulties in working with literary sources.
5. The working researcher criticized the cases of not having the skills to carry out the presentation of the research work.
He went on to say that there are two ways you can focus on research:
the first way, directly in the course of the lesson: organize problem-based lessons in your field of research in seminars, practical training classes, try to solve problematic tasks by setting them, try to create educational projects (lesson development, technological map, electronic manual) within the framework of your specialty or one of the main subjects do;
the second way is a logical continuation of the direct teaching process, carry out educational and research activities outside the classroom: do independent work, abstracts, course work, scientific, educational and research work, try to participate in Olympiads and exhibitions with your own speeches and scientific articles at conferences.
Every scientific research you do is done using certain scientific research methods. In the process of doing scientific research, you need to learn how to use research methods such as analysis and synthesis, comparison, classification, modeling, observation, experimentation, and interviewing. Without a good methodology, even a well-chosen scientific research work will not give good results.
To sum up, updating, deepening and strengthening the acquired knowledge as the progress of science and technology develops is the demand of the time. I believe that one of my main tasks is to open the way for you to engage in scientific activity, to identify the problems that occur at the right time and in the right place, and to focus on their elimination, and I hope that we will help each other in this regard," says Professor Yunusov
