DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT

    The Department of “Economics and Management” was established on August 30, 2024 on the basis of the Department of “Economics and Accounting” in accordance with the “Organizational Structure of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies”, approved by the resolutions of the University Board of Directors No. 3 dated August 27, 2024 and the University Board of Directors No. 1 dated August 29, 2024.

    The Department of “Economics and Management” is considered a specialty-training department, and today the department employs 1 associate professor with a degree in economics, 1 senior lecturer with a degree in economics, 3 senior lecturers and 10 assistants.

   The department has an “Economics” scientific circle operating under the “Teacher-Student” system. The Department of Economics and Management has established strong partnerships with the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (#641-650 QS World University Rankings), Almaty Technological University (#801-850 QS World University Rankings), and the Ukrainian State University of Biotechnology, all of which are ranked in the TOP-1000 of internationally recognized institutions.

   The Department of Economics and Management offers undergraduate courses in the following subjects: Economic Theory, History of Economic Studies, Introduction to Business, Institutional Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Green Economy, Strategic Business Planning, Economic Security, Management, Agrologistics, Fundamentals of Management, Human Resource Management, Innovative Economics, Agrarian Policy and Food Security, World Economy and International Economic Relations, Forestry Economics and Production Organization, Pasture-Steppe Agribusiness, Economic Pharmacy, Marketing and Logistics, Livestock Economics and Accounting, Agricultural Economics and Accounting, Network Economics and Accounting, Management and Production Organization in Livestock, Management and Marketing, Introduction to Economic Policy, Labor Economics, Corporate Governance, Regional Economics, Agricultural Economics, and Master's Degree Specialties: Microeconomics-2, Macroeconomics-2, Production He teaches courses in the fields of production organization, competitive strategy, public health, economics, and the impact of disasters on development.
