The Department of “Economics and Management” was established on August 30, 2024 on the basis of the Department of “Economics and Accounting” in accordance with the “Organizational Structure of the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies”, approved by the resolutions of the University Board of Directors No. 3 dated August 27, 2024 and the University Board of Directors No. 1 dated August 29, 2024.
The Department of “Economics and Management” is considered a specialty-training department, and today the department employs 1 associate professor with a degree in economics, 1 senior lecturer with a degree in economics, 3 senior lecturers and 10 assistants.
The department has an “Economics” scientific circle operating under the “Teacher-Student” system. The Department of Economics and Management has established strong partnerships with the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (#641-650 QS World University Rankings), Almaty Technological University (#801-850 QS World University Rankings), and the Ukrainian State University of Biotechnology, all of which are ranked in the TOP-1000 of internationally recognized institutions.
