CURRENT CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEM OF FOOD SECURITY



   Opening the conference with an introductory speech, the rector of the university, academician Khudaynazar Yunusov, noted that the conference is focused on the current problems of food security in the context of globalization and their solutions, the study of international experience in this area, the establishment of partnerships, and the scientific foundations of innovative ideas and developments of talented young people. He noted that it is important to support talented young people studying at the university and strengthen corporate innovative cooperation by activating their participation in international integration processes, and to analyze, evaluate and encourage innovative ideas and developments of talented young people conducting research, and wished the conference success.

   Also speaking at the conference, Doctor of Philosophy in Veterinary Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor F. Kurbonov, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Professor R. Rozikulov, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Associate Professor Z. Shopulatova, touched upon the content of the conference and noted that today, as a result of climate change on Earth, it is becoming more difficult to grow food products, and as a result, food security is becoming one of the urgent tasks for countries around the world, since ensuring food security is considered a guarantee of socio-economic and political stability in the country, and they noted that students should thoroughly learn, conduct scientific research and make their worthy contribution to providing the population with quality food.

  In turn, the first-year doctoral student of the university, Sardor Jahongirov, made presentations on topics such as “Infection of carp fish with Pseudomonosis and Chilodonella suprinid in the conditions of the Samarkand region, treatment and prevention measures”, and the second-year master's student, Nurbek Normamatov, made presentations on topics such as “The relationship between immunoglobulins and hematological indicators in the immune system in colibacillosis of calves”.

  The conference continued its work by dividing it into sub-topics such as “Current tasks and solutions to the problem of food safety”.
