THE SPIRITUAL AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE "SHARING ENLIGHTENMENT" PROJECT WERE HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY IN AN UPBEAT SPIRIT.

Famous poets and accomplished journalists Dilshod Rajabov and Orif Tokhtashev, who visited the spiritual and educational events held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology as part of the "Sharing Enlightenment" project, were warmly welcomed by the team led by the rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov.

After that, the rector of the university described to the guests the monument depicting the first veterinarian in front of the main building of the university, and spoke in detail about the history and meaning of its creation. They were given brief information about the life and activities of the university, and they took a photo for remembrance.

Also, as part of the project, the guests planted tree seedlings in the university garden. Information boards were installed on these trees indicating which writer and when they were planted, which will pave the way for the establishment of a “Garden of Writers” at the university in the course of this noble tradition.

The meeting of writers Dilshod Rajabov and Orif Tokhtashev with students and youth was held at the university’s “Palace of Culture”. Opening the event with an introductory speech, the rector of the university, Professor Kh. Yunusov, thanked the guests for their visit. He emphasized that this event is important for our youth to grow up as fully spiritually mature people, and that enlightenment is education aimed at improving the consciousness, knowledge, and culture of people.

The creators also spoke about the essence of this project and read excerpts from their poems. They expressed through real-life examples that the only way to achieve success in life is to get knowledge.

The songs and performances prepared by talented students of the university based on the works of the creators made a great impression on the audience.

As part of the project, the writers visited secondary schools No. 10, 119 and 120 in the Pastdargam district and had a sincere conversation with the students, expressing their valuable opinions on their creative path, the creation of a work of art, the role of literature in the spirituality of society, and the promotion of reading culture. The students recited poems by the writers and performed excerpts from their plays.

The writers also directly participated in the “Essay Competition”, “Debate” and “Intelligence” intellectual games held among students at the university based on the lives and works of the writers, highly evaluating the knowledge and talent of the students and asking interesting questions.

As part of the event, the writers presented their most selected works to a group of talented and creative students.
