DEPARTMENT OF CROP AND FEED PRODUCTION

     On June 2, 2018, on the orders of No:60 QA, the rector of the institute organized the Department of Crop and Feed Production at the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine in the Faculty of Biotechnology, processing of livestock products.

    There are: 5411300 – Crop production (pasture crop production), 5410200 – Agronomy (fodder crops), 5420100 – Agricultural management), 5410200 – Agronomy (by kinds of farming), 5411000 – Fruit and vegetable production and viticulture, 5410300 – Plant Protection and Quarantine, 5410100 – Agri chemistry and Soil science, 5410400 – Selection and seed breeding of agricultural crops, 5111000 – Professional education (5410200-Agronomy (by kinds of farming)), 5410600 - Zoo engineering (by types) and many other educational areas.

    There are lectures, laboratory and practical classes on Plant Breeding, Biological Basics of Plant Breeding, Feeding, Crop and Cotton Production, Forage cultivation, Systematics, morphology and biology of wheat, New nutritional crops, Biology and Genetics, Selection and seed breeding of field crops, Selection and seed breeding of grain and legumes, Selection of fruit and vegetable crops, Selection and seed breeding of cotton seeds, General Selection and Seeding, Agricultural crops seeding and other subjects for Undergraduate students.

Since the creation of the department is led by a doctor of agricultural sciences, Professor N. Khalilov. Also, in the department: Professors: I. Ergashev, D.
