An international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Innovative methods of diagnostics and prevention of non-communicable pathologies" was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology.
Opening the conference, the rector of the university, professor, academician of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khudaynazar Yunusov congratulated the participants of the conference and wished success in the work of the conference.

In his speech, the rector noted that today one of the main urgent tasks is to sustainably provide the world's population with high-quality ecologically pure livestock products and thereby ensure food security, and that urgent tasks such as importing livestock breeds adapted to the climatic conditions of the republic from foreign countries, increasing their breeding, and increasing productivity by improving the quality of their maintenance and care are being implemented in our country. He noted that the occurrence of various non-communicable pathologies in agricultural animals and poultry kept in our Republic limits the large-scale development of livestock farming and the possibility of using them at the level of their genetic potential. The effective use of highly productive animals from abroad, healthy breeding, increasing the number of livestock, and increasing productivity are considered urgent tasks today, and today's conference is significant in that it is aimed at solving these issues.

Also participating in the conference, Professor of the Department of Internal Non-Communicable Diseases of the university Kurban Norboyev, Alexey Prusakov from the St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine, Associate Professor of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University Almas Tuganbay and others noted that since the costs of treating and preventing non-communicable pathologies have a serious negative impact on the economic growth of farms, the introduction of methods for early diagnosis and prevention of these diseases is one of the important tasks of veterinary science today, non-communicable diseases in animals, including diseases of young animals (alimentary hypotrophy, dyspepsia, bronchopneumonia, D-hypovitaminosis), hypovitaminosis, micronutrient deficiencies, liver diseases, chronic digestive system diseases, subclinical ketosis in adult animals, can be highly effective only through early diagnosis and group prevention through dispensary visits, and that the maintenance and feeding of productive animals in farms should be carried out taking into account their age, body The conference touched upon important issues such as the fact that ignoring the weight, physiological condition and productivity of cows leads to metabolic disorders and infertility, and that farms suffer economic losses due to reduced milk yield, premature births and increased veterinary costs.

The conference continued its work by dividing it into sections: “Current Problems of Veterinary Therapy and Their Solutions” and “Current Problems and Solutions of Clinical Diagnostics”.
