AN INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD ON THE TOPIC "CURRENT PROBLEMS OF MODERN PARASITOLOGY AND INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO THEIR SOLUTION."




Opening the conference, the rector of the university, Professor Kh. Yunusov, touched upon the current problems of production in the sectors in the context of the globalization of food security and their solutions, noting that new types of parasitic diseases are emerging worldwide due to global migration and climate change, and that innovative approaches to solving these problems require molecular diagnostic methods, genome analysis of parasites, analysis of data obtained on the prevention of epidemiological threats, and scientific research in the field of vaccines, and emphasized the need to focus on conducting scientific research by applying innovative methods and technologies in line with world standards.

    Also speaking at the conference, the Head of the Department of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Safarov, the Rector of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine “Hurmat Belgisi” of the Republic of Belarus Gorlova Olga Sergeyevna, academician of this Academy Anton Yatusevich, professor of Kazan State Agrarian University Minsagit Lutfullin, professor of the M.S. Osimi Technical University of Tajikistan Anvariddin Mukhiddinov, professor of Samu State University Abdurashid Jabborov expressed their opinions on the topic, noting that today parasitology is of great importance not only for medicine, but also for veterinary, agricultural sectors and ecological balance, and that parasitic diseases threaten the lives of millions of people and animals.

    The conference continued its work by dividing it into sections: "Modern methods of treatment and prevention of parasitic diseases of animals", "Biology and ecology of pathogens of parasitic diseases", "The role of veterinary parasitology in ensuring food safety", "The importance of biological sciences in the innovative development of veterinary and animal husbandry".
