USE OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN THE PRODUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE QUALITY OF LIVESTOCK PRODUCTS
An international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Use of innovative technologies in the production and quality improvement of livestock products" was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.
Livestock farming plays a special role in ensuring food security. In this regard, modern approaches to the sector will serve to provide the population with high-quality and nutritious meat and dairy products. Food security is of great importance in ensuring a decent living for people in the future. Therefore, much attention has been paid to this pressing issue recently, - said the rector of the university, Professor Kh. Yunusov, who opened the conference with an introductory speech. - It should be noted that in recent years, special attention has been paid to work in this area in our country. I believe that the issues and proposals that will be considered at this conference will serve the development of the food security sector.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Jabborov, who participated in the conference via the “Zoom” platform, noted that in recent years, food safety has become one of the most pressing issues facing the world community, which requires further development of the sector through the use of new innovative trends and technologies, as well as scientific achievements.
The conference was attended by Dmitry Nikolayevich Fedotov, Vice-Rector of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine “Hurmat Belgisi” of the Republic of Belarus, A.A. Khudaiberdiev, Ph.D. (PhD) from the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Temiryazov, Professor of the Krakow Agricultural University in Poland, Martin Nemik, Director of the Scientific Research Institute of Karakul Farming and Desert Ecology, Ph.D. Professor Ye.S.Shaptakov, Professor T.A.Baybatirov of the West Kazakhstan Agricultural University named after Zhangirkhan, Head of the Beekeeping Laboratory of the Research Institute of Livestock and Poultry Breeding O.S.Turayev, Chairman of the Samarkand Regional Beekeeping Association X.A.Rashidov participated in the conference with their reports and expressed their opinions on the topic.
Also, the conference participants visited the Mega Project vivarium and the department's training laboratories and got acquainted with the work being carried out.
