An international scientific and practical conference on the topic: “Current problems of social and human sciences” was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.

      The conference focused the work of its sections on the following issues: “The role of social and human sciences in training personnel of the new generation”, “Development of linguistics, literary criticism and educational technologies”, “The importance of the priority of interactive methods in teaching foreign languages”, “The importance of physical culture and sports in training future specialists."

     The rector of the university, Professor Yunusov Kh.B, who opened the conference with an opening speech, emphasized that the social and human sciences have a special role in training morally healthy, mature, modern personnel who will serve the development of our country and its future, he informed those present about , that today’s international conference is attended by professors and doctors of science from around the world in the field of social sciences, humanities and languages, and that the purpose of this international conference is to exchange experience with foreign partners, ensure the integration of scientific research in the social and humanitarian sphere at the university.

     Also speaking at the conference were the head of the department of the Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development A. Safarov, the state language adviser to the chairman of the Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development M. Abdukhakimova, Candidate of Philological Sciences of Moscow State University, Associate Professor Svetlana Vekovisheva. The director of the International Research Center of Imam Al Bukhari B. Toraev, university teachers R. Toshkuvvatova, G. Bozorova and N. Yakhyakulova also expressed their opinions and ideas on these issues.
