CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT FREE FROM CORRUPTION IN EDUCATION AND UPBRINGING IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PRINCIPLE!

Corruption seriously undermines the development of any state and all sectors of society, slows down progress, eats away at the state from within, destroys the people, and causes violations of rights and interests.
Today, the fight against this crime has become one of the most pressing issues worldwide. At present, all the legal foundations for combating corruption have been created in our country. Vigilance and responsibility are required from each of us in this regard.

The words of the Head of State Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who spoke on March 5 of this year at an expanded meeting dedicated to the effectiveness of work on preventing corruption and future priority tasks, “If we all act as a single force in the fight against corruption, we will certainly achieve even greater positive results,” contain great meaning.

Indeed, where there is corruption, there is no truth and justice. We cannot achieve the development of any sector or the goals we have set for ourselves. Corruption is a gross violation of the law. The days of those who allow corruption are short.

A high level of corruption is a factor that lowers the country's international reputation and negatively affects the investment climate. Therefore, there is no compromise with corruption.

As the head of our state noted, people were hesitant to place their children in school or kindergarten, and had to solve their problems in "other ways". 7-8 years ago, "familiarity" was rampant when entering universities. The industry has become digital, exams are broadcast online. First, a system of passing tests and selecting a university was introduced based on the score obtained. Due to the transition to obtaining 35 types of documents in higher education without the human factor, applications in the industry decreased by 2.2 times.

The meeting noted the lack of good practices in our society in explaining how to appreciate peace and stability in our country, understand the difference between yesterday and today, avoid excessive waste in the neighborhood and at weddings, and live life with honesty and gratitude. Another important aspect was emphasized, which is that school principals should explain to our boys and girls, in simple language, such noble ideas as honesty and not betraying someone's rights, within the framework of the subject "Education".

Based on the instructions of our Honorable President to the Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions on the need to establish a system of supporting anti-corruption projects, startups and innovative initiatives of students and youth, we have set specific goals and plans that we need to implement with responsible officials.

To date, many activities have been carried out at the university to prevent and combat corruption. It all started with the certification of all employees of the former institute, including the teaching staff. As a result, the teaching staff was selected, and the university, in turn, was replenished with promising young personnel, mainly those who studied abroad. Also, "Education without Corruption" was launched, the main factor of which was the creation of a healthy atmosphere between teacher and student, great attention was paid to openness and transparency. Meetings of leaders and youth were held regularly, and a new system of working with individual appeals was created.

In general, as the head of our state emphasized, we need to create a system that will take root in the hearts of the youth of New Uzbekistan, and treat corruption as a "cancer in the body of society." Only by uniting towards one goal for the well-being of our state, the future of our people, and our future, can we achieve the eradication of this scourge. We all need to start the fight against any form of corruption with ourselves, to be morally and legally prepared for it. If each of us fearlessly exercises our rights, does not allow violations of the law, is not indifferent and indifferent, and fulfills our obligations sincerely, then we will have the opportunity to perfectly fight not only corruption, but also any crime.
