Umidjon Asomiddinov graduated from the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.
From 2019 to 2021, he completed his Master’s degree at Samarkand State University.
From 2021 to 2024, U.M. Asomiddinov worked as an Assistant at the Department of Veterinary Sanitary Expertise at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology.
Since 2024 to the present, he has been serving as the Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs at the Faculty of Veterinary Diagnostics and Food Safety of the same university.
Duties
• Ensure the implementation and monitoring of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on education, Presidential decrees, orders, resolutions, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, decisions and orders of the Board of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, official letters, assignments, as well as the orders of the higher education institution related to spiritual and educational processes;
• Organize educational, moral, and enlightenment activities at the faculty;
• Organize the completion of students’ personal files reflecting their individual psychological profiles;
• Exercise daily control over students’ adherence to dress code and culture of behavior;
• Coordinate the spiritual-enlightenment work plans of the faculty and departments, form a general plan based on them, and have it approved at the Faculty Council;
• Organize events aimed at preventing offenses, crimes, and protecting faculty teachers and students from the influence of various harmful ideologies;
• Include issues related to spiritual and educational work in the Faculty Council’s agenda and ensure their regular discussion;
• Convey the essence and content of decrees and resolutions adopted by the President and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan to students;
• Organize spiritual and educational activities aimed at nurturing students’ patriotism, loyalty to national and universal values, expanding their moral, aesthetic, and ethical worldview, protecting them from inhumane ideologies, and raising them as true devotees of independent Uzbekistan;
• Ensure the organization of spiritual and educational events carried out at the higher education institution;
• Establish activities aimed at fostering moral, aesthetic, and socio-political education among students;
• Organize conferences, round tables, and meetings based on national traditions and values, as well as activities aimed at raising legal culture;
• Contribute to improving activities aimed at enhancing students’ spiritual and physical development;
• Develop spiritual and educational work taking into account educational directions and specializations to form professional skills in students;
• Improve spiritual and educational activities based on the instructions of the Director, Deputy Director for Academic and Educational Affairs, Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment, and the Dean of the Faculty;
• Analyze the work done by heads of departments on spiritual and educational matters and provide recommendations;
• Analyze and monitor the fulfillment of tasks specified in the “Spiritual and Educational Work” section of teachers’ annual workloads;
• Assign mentors to students living in rented accommodations and regularly coordinate their activities;
• Organize meaningful leisure activities for students in dormitories and monitor their daily routines;
• Continuously monitor the delivery and content of the “Information and Mentorship Hour” conducted by mentors;
• Maintain constant communication with students’ parents and organize a “Parents’ Day” event at the faculty;
• Organize and supervise duty schedules in educational buildings and student dormitories on designated days as instructed by the administration;
• Prepare a report and photo album on the faculty’s spiritual and educational activities at the end of each semester and submit them to the department head;
• Provide proposals and recommendations for the moral and material encouragement of active participants who demonstrate good initiative in improving spiritual and educational work;
• Establish cooperation with public organizations and law enforcement agencies and work individually with problematic students;
• Take initiative in decorating faculty buildings, departments, and classrooms with promotional posters and approach this task with political vigilance;
• Conscientiously fulfill one’s official duties.
