An outreach event focused on combating ignorance through enlightenment—themed "National Values ​​and Their Role in the Spirituality of the Nation"—was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock, and Biotechnologies.

Speaking at the event, the university rector, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, emphasized the importance of realizing the intellectual potential of young people, guiding them toward knowledge and enlightenment, and harmonizing modern learning with national and universal human values. It was further noted that a key objective is to nurture youth into individuals who think independently, possess high moral standards, and have a profound sense of responsibility toward society. Following this, Sohibnazar Baymurodov, Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of the Committee for Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, addressed the audience.

He focused on the importance of protecting young people from various harmful vices and destructive ideologies, while fostering a sound worldview and a firm belief system. He specifically noted that some young people, whether knowingly or unknowingly, fall into the trap of negative phenomena such as religious terrorism and drug addiction. He emphasized that educational outreach, awareness-raising efforts, and regular dialogue with the youth are crucial in preventing such occurrences.
