On October 8, a roundtable discussion titled "Human Trafficking: A Contemporary Issue" was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Livestock and Biotechnology, in accordance with the Women's Advisory Council's action plan.

Mukhtor Rahmatovich Urinov, Deputy Head of the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs, participated in the event.

During the discussion, special attention was paid to preventing human trafficking, addressing its negative consequences, exercising caution against various forms of deception when traveling abroad or seeking employment, and verifying the legitimacy of documents.

Participants received essential recommendations on enhancing legal literacy and maintaining vigilance and awareness. The event concluded with a Q&A session, allowing participants to get answers to their questions.
