A national scientific-practical conference is currently being held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnologies, focusing on the themes "Pressing issues of sustainable agricultural development in an innovative economy" and "Economic mechanisms for the innovative development of agro-services in a digital economy." Organized by the university's Faculty of Economics, this prestigious event aims to elevate production efficiency to a new level through the widespread adoption of modern digital technologies and innovations in agriculture, as well as the rational use of resources.

   The conference was opened by the university's rector, Doctor of Biological Sciences and Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, who highlighted the current importance of implementing resource-saving technologies and digital solutions in the sector.

Industry experts, participating both in person and via the Zoom platform, delivered presentations on pressing issues regarding the integration of science and production. Within the framework of the conference, cutting-edge scientific and practical developments aimed at enhancing the sector's competitiveness are being thoroughly discussed, with particular emphasis on promoting best practices that are currently being implemented.

Specifically, presentations put forward practical proposals and analyses regarding the maintenance of accounting records in agricultural enterprises based on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the application of modern management and economic analysis mechanisms within the agro-sector. Furthermore, speakers examined in detail how the digitalization of agro-services can reduce production costs and boost the industry's competitiveness. The conference, which focuses on entrepreneurship, economic reforms, International Financial Reporting Standards, and the improvement of management mechanisms, is continuing with lively discussions.
