SamSUVMLB held an international scientific and practical conference on the topic "Achievements of Microbiology, Immunology and its Importance in Laboratory Diagnostics".
Opening the conference, the rector of the university, Professor Kh. Yunusov, noted that the rapid development of the livestock sector, the development of this sector based on international standards to meet the population's demand for quality food products are urgent issues of today. He noted that the conference aims to study and discuss a number of important areas, such as ensuring the quality and safety of agricultural products, the use of modern diagnostic methods based on international experience in developing measures to detect, prevent and combat infectious diseases in animals, and wished the conference success.
Also at the conference, the Head of the Department of the Veterinary and Livestock Development Committee A. Safarov, the Head of the Virology Laboratory of the Veterinary Research Institute Khait Salimov, Professor of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University Jumagul Kirkimbayeva, Professor of the Harran University of the Republic of Turkey Sevil Yerdenlig and others expressed their opinions on the topic, noting that the conference is of great importance in raising awareness about the importance of timely diagnosis of infectious diseases in animals, improving the skills of farm employees and managers, and conveying the importance of maintaining epizootological stability in order to ensure public health.
During the conference, speakers gave presentations on topics such as “Comparative assessment of water from different water sources”, “Prospects for the use of microbial biotechnology in ensuring food safety in the livestock sector”, “Results of a comparative study of the effectiveness of antibiotics and prebiotics in the treatment of lamb colibacillosis”, “Express diagnostics of cattle viral diarrhea”.
The conference continued its work by dividing it into sections: “Advances of microbiology in the field of veterinary medicine and prospects for modern diagnostics”, “Advances of immunology and its role in the field of veterinary medicine”.
