A REPUBLICAN SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD ON THE TOPIC "PROBLEMS IN BIOLOGY, ECOLOGY AND AGRICULTURE IN UZBEKISTAN AND THEIR SOLUTIONS."




     At it, the rector of the University, Professor Kh.B. Yunusov, Honored Journalist of Uzbekistan, Deputy of the Regional Council of People's Deputies Farmon Toshev, Professor of the M. Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan L.A. Gafurova, Director of the Karakalpak Scientific Research Institute of Medical Sciences S.M. Mambetullaeva, Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology, Associate Professor A.A. Nurniyozov and many other professors and teachers expressed their views on the topic.
Within the framework of the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference, each of the participants shared their knowledge and experience in their field and expressed their views on the current problems faced by Uzbekistan in biology, ecology and agriculture and their scientific and practical solutions.
    The rector of the University, Professor Kh.B. Yunusov, opened the event with an introductory speech, noting that the topic of the conference is very relevant today. He noted the importance of strengthening the integration between science, innovation and practice, and supporting young scientists.
     Farmon Toshev emphasized the need to cover environmental problems through the media and attract public attention to these issues. He revealed the possibilities of cooperation between journalism and science.
L.A. Gafurova presented the results of scientific research on the conservation of biological diversity and the study of genetic resources. She also touched upon the importance of scientific approaches in ensuring environmental safety.
S.M. Mambetullaeva provided information about new drugs prepared on the basis of medicinal plants, their ecological properties and role in health care. She also expressed her opinion on methods of effective use of regional biological resources.
A.A. Nurniyozov, spoke about the biotechnological research conducted at the Faculty of Biotechnology, especially the achievements in plant and animal genomics, and introduced the participants to the projects being implemented in production based on practical developments.
M.Kh. Begmatova spoke about scientific developments in the field of environmental monitoring and protection of medicinal plants, and touched upon the need to introduce modern innovative approaches in teaching processes.
    During the event, participants presented their scientific articles and research results. Special sections were also organized for young scientists, giving them the opportunity to demonstrate their talents. At the end of the conference, participants were awarded certificates, and the best scientific developments were specially recognized.
This conference was an important step towards strengthening the integration of science and practice, expanding scientific cooperation, and finding effective solutions to environmental and agricultural problems.
