An International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic "Current Problems of Modern Surgery, Their Solutions and Future Tasks" was held at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor N.Sh. Davlatov.
The conference was attended by university professors, specialists from scientific centers operating in the system, scientists from foreign universities, young scientists and students.
Speaking at the event dedicated to the opening of the international conference, the rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, touched upon the life and work of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor N.Sh. Davlatov, noting that his life path shone like a bright star, leaving behind a rich scientific heritage and many accomplished students. He also touched upon the purpose of this international scientific and practical conference, noting that attention is paid to issues such as the current state of the spread of surgical diseases in livestock in the republic, existing problems, their solutions, analysis of scientific and research work carried out on future tasks, and future tasks.
Also speaking at the conference, Academician of the St. Petersburg State University of Veterinary Medicine Anatoly Stekolnikov, Academician of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University Mardan Zhulanov, Associate Professor Kanat Orinkhanov, and a higher-category surgeon of the Bukhara city polyclinic No. 1 Sulaymon Davlatov expressed their opinions on the topic and noted that one of the founders of the scientific schools of veterinary surgery and pharmacology and toxicology, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Davlatov Nugmon Shodmonovich made a great contribution to the development of veterinary surgery and veterinary toxicology, achieving the scientific degree of Candidate of Sciences at the age of 29 and Doctor of Veterinary Sciences at the age of 43, authoring more than 250 monographs, textbooks, educational and methodological and scientific works, and that 1 Doctor of Sciences and more than 8 Candidates of Sciences have graduated under the scientific supervision of the scientist.
At the conference, university professor Hakim Niyozov spoke on “The life and scientific work of Professor N.Sh. Davlatov”, head physician of the Latvian University of Natural Sciences and Technology Maida and the Clinic of Domestic Animals Olga Rabochayeva spoke on “Training in Veterinary Surgery at the University”, university doctoral students Adham Rizayev spoke on “Improving the treatment of purulent otitis in rabbits” and Madina Yuldasheva spoke on “Effective and modern methods of assessing the course”.
The conference discussed the possibilities of using modern methods of early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of non-infectious and surgical diseases of livestock in farms, clusters and private households specializing in livestock breeding, improved veterinary service that allows increasing animal productivity, new, early diagnostic and effective treatment methods, and effective surgical interventions on farms based on the latest scientific achievements.
