CORRUPTION DEVELOPMENT FORCE
A seminar-training on the topic "Development's contribution to corruption" was held on April 2, 2024 at the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology to study the effectiveness of the work carried out in system organizations in accordance with the resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-5177 dated July 6, 2021 "On additional measures for the effective organization of anti-corruption activities" and No. PQ-81 dated January 12, 2022 "On measures to introduce a rating system for assessing the effectiveness of anti-corruption work".
The seminar, held with the participation of the university's senior staff, was held under the leadership of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock, Head of the Internal Control Department for Combating Corruption K.I. Kariev, and Chief Specialist of the Internal Control Department for Combating Corruption A. Qambarov. The seminar focused on the work carried out in 2023 and the tasks for 2024, and current issues in the fight against corruption. The seminar identified the current shortcomings and the tasks to be implemented next.
Special instructions and instructions were given to the responsible staff on organizing work to prevent corruption in the system and determining important measures.
Speaking at the seminar-training, the rector of the university, Professor Kh. Yunusov, expressed his views on the topic and touched upon the issues being addressed at the university in this regard.
