The rector of the university, Professor Khudaynazar Yunusov, opened the festive event with a congratulatory speech, congratulated all guests and participants of the event, and emphasized the attention paid to women and women and girls by the state policy level in our society today.
“Out of 794 professors, teachers and employees of the university, 298 are women, and out of 6248 students, 1769 are girls.
These women, who are dedicated scientists and young researchers, researchers or work in other departments of the educational institution, are the grace and beauty of our university. They give beauty and meaning to the life of the university!
I can also say with pleasure that this year, 25 of the researchers engaged in scientific activities at the university defended their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertations, 7 of whom are women.
Also, 3 of the 5 State Scholarship holders are female students, and we are rightfully proud of them!” – said the rector of the university, professor Kh. Yunusov in his speech.
During the event, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational affairs Alibek Gapporov read out the order of the rector of the university. According to it, it was announced that on the occasion of the holiday, women working at the educational institution will be awarded cash prizes.
The event was further enriched by the teachers who have worked at the university for many years and are now retired. They were shown special respect and presented with holiday gifts. The rector of the university also read out the congratulatory message of the Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the women of the university. Dedicated women and girls who have made special contributions to education were presented with the “Certificate of Honor” and “Letter of Appreciation” from the university rector.
The circle was enlivened by performances by creative students and youth of the university. After that, all the guests continued the event around the festive table.
