COOPERATION HELPS TO INCREASE THE INTERNATIONAL PRESTIGE OF THE UNIVERSITY




     In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set out in the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-187 dated March 31, 2022 “On radical improvement of the system of personnel training in the field of veterinary medicine and animal husbandry” and the “Uzbekistan - 2030” strategy, to bring the quality of education to a new level, to organize cooperation between the Samarkand State University of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Husbandry and Biotechnology with higher educational institutions included in the top 1000 of the internationally recognized organizations, to further increase its prestige in national and international rankings, to organize large-scale fundamental, applied and innovative research with universities that occupy high places in the rankings of internationally recognized organizations, to ensure the participation of university professors and teachers and students in academic exchange programs, to jointly publish textbooks, study guides, scientific articles in journals indexed in the international scientific and technical databases Web of Science, Scopus A number of practical works are being carried out to publish articles and organize international conferences.

  

      In particular, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with the Ukrainian State University of Biotechnology, according to which the Department of Economics and Accounting of the Faculty of Economics of the university established strong cooperation with the departments of this university, and within the framework of this cooperation, on February 26, 2024, Professor of this university, Doctor of Economics Koshkald Irina Vitalevna visited the university to give lectures to university students.

      During the visit, Professor Irina Vitalevna received the rector of the university, Professor Yunusov Khudoynazar Beknazarovich, and within the framework of the cooperation, issues such as further strengthening cooperation in inter-university educational and scientific fields, training of highly qualified pedagogical personnel on the basis of joint programs, exchange of professors, teachers, masters and students, sending teachers for short-term internships, advanced training, implementation of international scientific and practical grant projects in co-authorship, and organization of international conferences were discussed.

      On the second day of the visit, Professor Irina Vitalevna of the Ukrainian State University of Biotechnology gave a lecture on the subject "Business Research Methods" (Методы бизнес-исследований) to 2nd-year masters of the specialty 70310100-"Economics (by sectors and industries)", and a Master's class on the subject "Management Management" to 3rd-year students of the specialty 60310100-"Economics (in agriculture)".
